Camera for the seasoned Bus photographer: Your Choice?

Anyone here uses the Sony H7? For taking bus pictures you need to be fast sometimes, but is this camera good enough? I also read that its good at night? if anyone uses it can he pls comment on it? My old camera really needs to be replaced, the shutters do not even work as i should anymore..

D40 and D40X does not have a autofocus motor inside the camera,relying on EF-S lens for the in-built motor.
So if u use EF lens(which is practically the expensive ones) u have to make do with manual focus.

And BTw

D40 and D40X is more like a P&S according to the users.

haha, sometimes you must try out a few shots first, then take note of the time of the lag Laughing to achieve equilibrium of the shots.

I would say a seasoned bus photographer doesn't really have the need to get a Digital SLR camera. It's way over the mark of taking good bus photographs.

Though I own a Canon EOS350D, I hardly use it as I don't really find the need to do so. I would always be using Canon Powershot A510. Though it's a consumer camera, it produces pictures that satisfy the OK level.

IMO, if one wants to take bus pictures with a better camera, perhaps prosumer cameras like Canon S5IS is good enough.

For starters wise... Canon Powershot A500 series can be a model that is worth to commence with.
