Those DD in the JIS service also have this vents, they were dunno either spolit or the driver never on it. Sometimes, when it is raining, the bus inside were very stuffy as the windows were all closed .

thats right! last night.. was raining, boarda super crwded mkm2 WA NAC.. sv74.. only 1 fan out of 8 was blowing.. guess many people cant tahan the stuffiness

Long ago, Mk II DMs had working blowers. However, it was sealed up later on. Apparently the two pods on the roof were for ventilation.

Maybe next time we will get CAC VO2x. Very Happy

But I think it won't happen as most of the buses operated on JIS Svcs. Maybe we may get it when they are doing svc 154, 74. So far, I only saw NAC DDs on svc 93.

most mk2 WA.. they dont switch them on, all most of them spoilt..

the VO2x.. even when they were introduced, also very very seldom switched on..

so far in most discussions abt DD CAC, it is impossible unless the DD is 3X. bcos if u add in an AC [most prolly underfloor, bcos the back of the VO2X has no space at the top to let AC go from the compressor to the upper deck], the 2 axles will have to handle an extra weight of abt 500kg+, which may strain the bus. [the seating arrangement on the VO2X is a sign that the bus cannot tahan heavy loads =.=]
