820/821 used NAC Mercedes, not nissans.. and it had 3 bus stops within seletar camp, walking distance..

354 route is also within walking distance, while 284 is probably longer than 354

If I am not mistaken, services 820/821 used mainly the zero step NAC Scanias when all the NAC Nissans were transferred to the newly opened WLDEP in 1998. NAC Mercedes cameoed on these services once in a while Rolling Eyes

NAC Nissans were then used on services 820/821 when WLDEP later swopped its NAC buses with AMDEP in Oct 1999. Remembered it's perm buses were TIB331C and TIB332A at that time. NAC Nissan deployment only a short period of time before the services were handed back to SBS in Dec 1999.

Ya..FYI, sv238 timetable shows that it has to do 2 to 3 trips(sometimes) before a break..The break usually is less than 10 minutes..And the meal times is 26 minutes..

284 is way shorter than 354. Note that for 354, the 1st stop after interchange is actually quite a distance away. Very different from 284.

378 went to Picadilly Rd, which is inside Seletar Camp. I don’t how far that is but it is certainly not 500-600 metres.

Well, I just checked the SBS Transit bus guide, and...

Route 354 - 4 fare stages from Pasir Ris to Downtown East and back
Route 284 - 3 fare stages from Clementi to Clementi Ave 4 and back
Route 103 (portion of former route 378 ) - 2 fare stages from former Jalan Kayu Terminal to Seletar Camp gate and back
