My vote goes to SMRT, u can never find another driver who can cut his nails while driving on 852 along lentor ave.

Wah..Implement bus route into other territory also must follow rules..In that case, merge the companies together will be better..Not so troublesome when implementing new routes..

lornie road and steven road is very far away from each other. the shortest road to link both roads will be PIE or Dunearn Road, which will be Adam Road instead

In this case, I have another suggestion. CCK central, CCk Dr, Teck Whye Avenue, CCk road, Bukit Panjang Road, BKE, PIE, Toa Payoh Lor 6, PIE, MacPherson Road, Alijunied Road, Merpati Road, Circuit Road, Ubi Avenue 2, Eunos Link, Hougang Ave 3, Upper Serangoon Road, Hougang Central. 36 stages in total.

Passes by Hougang and Eunos and a little bit of Toa payoh which are SBST dominated. Provides direct link from CCK to ubi.

what abt this? let this new service run from CCK – Pasir RIs via CCK WAY , BT Panjang (follow 960/963’s route) then turn to BKE , SLE , Ang Mo Kio then Jalan Kayu , SLE TPE downtown east

True. Take the S67 Habits and you will know. They speed better than their wlds brothers, say 960 963. The bus went over a bump at such speed that the bendy portion was like the sound of the see-saw, eee or ee or. Shocked 190 bendies can speed too ! For sound insulation, i prefer the O405G MKI(aka box bendy) . They sound much softer on the expressway than the Habits, which is a good thing for our ears! Laughing Frankly speaking i begin to favour SBSTransit over SMRT after the deployment of the B9TLs. SMRT speed is good, but they didn't even have one WAB! Not even one demonstrator. I think SMRT should have a try out on at least one WAB buses such as the OC500LE or even better the Citaro! Very Happy Scania's are not bad though. Mr. Green Not only that low-floor/WAB buses allows easier boarding for trolleys or wheelchairs, it also allows quicker exhange of passengers, which is a good thing for SMRT on svcs such as 67 and 960 and 190 where there is high demand.

Hmm why not extend 969 to Bukit Panjang? Instead of ending at Woodlands, it will just bypass it, then be on its way to BP either by expressway(963,187) or the dunno what road(used by 178,961,960,160,170, cant remember the road name, sry!) That way, residents can just take 969 all the way to Tampines, then change to MRT(Just one stop only to Pasir Ris) Finish. It just took me 25-35 mins to travel from Tampines to Yishun, so when the route is amended, it shld take us about 45-60 mins to travel from BP to Tampines, depending on traffic situations.
