Nostalgia on Buses

Can anybody tell me more about the older buses, those engines in the font ?, like the OF's, MB 03xx, Leyland Victory, the Vkings ? Because I was born in 1992...

SBS9889U was on TV Mobile livery before SBST livery in 2001 (I saw this bus on one of the SBS newsletter). Is it true?

TVM was launched on 14 Feb 2001 Valentines' Day.

SBS 9381 S also had the radio playing 95FM music on service 14 back in the late 90s.

and SBS 9405 H on sv99 too...had a working radio playing Class95 until TV Mobile was installed.

I saw the 'PIONEER & CLASS 95FM' ads on a TIBS bendy, I think the bendy was used to have the radio installed.

For TV Mobile long public trial in 1999 (not 2001), when does it ends?

SBS9888Y has VOLGREN bodywork, while SBS9889U has its own Comfort DelGro bodywork. Smile

It's because 9888Y came first. It was launched in 1999, 4 years before the rest of the B10TL. It is also the only B10TL with a ZF gearbox and a flip-dot electronic destination sign (EDS). TVMobile was launched with this bus too.
