Festive Season issue can be very sticky, because bus op dun know when the bus queue up will start... But aft it starts, they will have to do something... It is still acceptable for the 1st 2 days, but aft that, it is not! In fact, KMB in HK do inform passengers of contingency plans of diversion in case of jam or whatever

Aparently on today’s ST Forums, the 1st commuter complain was made against Sv 151’s NAC bus fleet

Nowadays, NAC buses are quite uncomfortable to most passengers, they prefer AC buses instead.

SBST should have convert Sv 151 to FAC status.

Buses used on Sv 151 consists of NAC & CAC fleet, could be Volvo B10M MK IIs, but the air-con are not very cold.

It does not

Even svs like 151, even if the buses arrive on time, they are often overloaded esp when NUS and NP are in their academic terms

At least, SBST should deploy more buses on Sv 151. As Sv 151 becomes overloaded due to NUS & NP academic terms, other people that waiting at the bus stop will have to wait for the next bus to arrive.

In fact, many other svs buses tend to avoid to be at the back of Sv 151 when it reaches any bus stops along Bt Timah Rd...

The worst is along Clementi Rd when passengers from SMRT svs makes their transfers

Yup, at Clementi Rd, the polytechnic is just nearby, and the buses are likely to be overcrowded.

Could be either of these 3 SMRT Svs 61, 75 & 184

Today's reply onto Sv 151's complain, it is practically insenitive... The repeating use of this phrase "90% of our buses are aircon and we are progressive replacing the NAC ones" is just another copy and paste reply

"The NAC buses on 151 are still road worthy so we are not adding aircon fleet", this I think SBS should rethink, if this is the case, then all SBS svs should use NAC buses then, then those that have repeatly brunching buses should be NAC as these buses are clogging the roads and delaying other sv buses

"90% of SBS buses are aircon"... Yeah right, close to 80% of 151 fleet is NAC, they are just refusing to admit this

Polytechnic/ University dedicated buses are forever (majority) NAC.

I will suggest that SBST should put 50-50 to Sv 151.
(I meant that Sv 151 will use 50% NAC buses & 50% AC buses)
