If they dun know the route, how did they know that that
particular feeder service can take them to their destination? Dun
tell me they anyhow take any feeder service and then sit inside and
look at the LED display, hoping to find their destination and then
alight?
Also, even with LED display in bus, there is no guarantee that the
passengers know the route by looking at the LED... There maybe a
lot of confusion.
Just an example as follow:
If a certain passenger want to go to blk 164 at Toa Payoh Lor 1....
so he boarded a feeder service 231 from interchange and look at the
LED. The bus reach first bus stop and the LED show Block 163, can
he alight? The LED might not show the exact block that the
passenger want to go.
So if he alight at Block 163 (he assume that blk 163 should be
close to blk 164)he sure cant find Block 164. which is actually two
bus stops away...
So i dun think the LED is that useful. It would be better to ask
the BC. a SV231 BC should be able to tell you where to alight to go
to blk 164, instead of depending on the LED.
