Apex-LW'21 SG I know 2 of the bus pictures you had taken from books, am I right? I had saw this 2 buses before, excluding the CSS Hinos.
Manager433 SG I still remembered taking that old double decker bus when I’m in pri sch. Each trip cost me onli $0.25
Apex-LW'21 SG I really missed the Leyland Atlanteans (especially with Baco, DM & Metsec) and also the re-bodied CAC Leyland Victory (known as Guy Victory). I catched the very last LA (with Baco) on Svc 133 and the Guy Victory on Svc 390, just before their withdrawal.
PhyrePhox SG Hey, that last one’s a MAN bus right? What’s the number? I remembered a long time ago svc 3 (from JE to Bedok, if I’m not mistaken) had something like that right, or was that something else?
SGEMP SG Photos are nice, but SBS 140 goes from where fromwhere, and the bus in the lowest pic is serving on which route?
tranquilice SG Service 140 plied between Toa Payoh and Penang Rd, looping via the U-turn opposite the former Cathay cinema. It duplicated service 143. Withdrawn due to MRT rationalisation.
tranquilice SG Look slightly above the rego plate and you can see the word "Leyland". That service 3 bus was a Renault (correct spelling?).
Apex-LW'21 SG A Renault PR100.2 (SBS30P) on AIRCON 3. Svc 140 loops at Orchard Rd and then returns route via Bras Basah Rd, since I had the Bus Guide 1986.
Apex-LW'21 SG Correct, SBS6717C was the re-bodied CAC Leyland Victory, it had the Soon Chow bodywork when it re-bodied, originally BaCo bodyworks. Don't forget the last rego for the CAC Leyland Victory was SBS6718A, last saw it on Svc 390.
Vehicle_builder SG Hey!Are you guyz intrested in any old taxis photos?I got more of all this photos…nice right? There is also the old Morris taxi photo.Thre is also old caltex station situated next to Hotel Phonix in the past
