Hmmm.. notice now a lot of buses introduced originating from the North East sector. Is it now a lucrative route (new estates) or are they just filling in ga...

tranquilice SG

No, the shops (Blk 443) are beside the interchange and not in the interchange itself.

AMK Int (AMK Ave 3) was torn down in 2002 and Toa Payoh Interchange was demolished to make way for HDB Hub & an air-con interchange in 1998.

Apex-LW'21 SG

Was it under SERS together with Blks 436-438?

tranquilice SG

Clementi interchange may seems small, but it has 5 berths for up to 15 services. Currently, it has 12 SBST services, 1 SMRT service, Turf City shuttle and Ngee Ann Poly shuttle (both share the same queue). There's only one vacant queue left at berth 4.

How does the former AMK interchange resembles Clementi interchange?

tranquilice SG

What is your reason for expansion? UEC terminal holding up to 8 services is already good enough.

Do the residents along UEC Rd and those from Bedok Camp 2 need more than 10 bus services to ply there? (including services 10 and 14, and a maximum of 8 services from UEC ter)

kc_leung SG

Old AMK resembles old Toa Payoh and Bedok int. Clementi seems to be unique. Cool

tranquilice SG

Not service 55 but service 76.

Blk 445.

Continue discussion of the three new service here. Its getting messy. Thank you

PhyrePhox SG

Oh.. I could have sworn it resembled some interchange, at least in the past. Maybe some past torn-down terminal or something. Or I must have been dreaming. Alright.. won't continue on this.. getting really off-topic.

Woah, SBST recently has lots of promotions to attract ppl to take their buses. That’s cool as I can get vouchers while taking a bus.

sinicker SG

if SBST was more daring, they shud have teamed up with some shops at Geylang Serai and offer promotions for passengers on all services passing by Geylang Serai. but this case, Kg Glam? even i, being a Malay, wouldnt go there except to buy food to break fast. the offer for Deepavali is for all services passing by Little India. but for Hari Raya, only C3.

tanjun SG

I agree with you. It really gives the mood and atmosphere of festive seasons with promotions put at bus stops

Apex-LW'21 SG

Svc 43, 52 & 59 will have promotions too. Smile

kc_leung SG

Please take a look at the press releases for details on these yummy promotions... Very Happy
