I also hope that there are no mistakes, missing or mis-spelt words in the TL Guide 2006. I wish that the TL guide 2006 hopes to have correct and accurate information.

I have the 1992 and 2000 supplement guides. The 1992 supplement guide was released in July of the same year, the 2000 supplement guide came together with the original guide.

The reason for it to be $2 could be because SBST has introduced many new routes and hence, the production cost increased.(Services like CT,FFW, Citybuzz..)

Even with GST, it wouldnt be $2 as GST only increased 1 - 2% since the last production which also included GST and adds up to $1.50. The GST would not be more than 10 cents increase. It should be the increase of the production cost.

It may be possible as there will be more info added to it. And there may and surely will be other reasons that only transitlink know. I am only guessing. Did you notice that there are 5 FFWs, 3 Citybuzz, 3 CTs,Parks 408, Sv34, 48, 57, 58, 115, 160, 170B, 181 and the amendments of other services.

I also think that they are trying to earn more money as mighty minds have gained a lot this while, but not transitlink.

Still, your reasoning in your previous post is unacceptable. Having more information in the guide is not the reason why the selling price of the guide now costs $2.

Where does service 170B ply? I only know of red and blue plates service 170.

FYI, the 170B means 170 Blue Plate, 170R means red plate. They are short forms.

In this forum, 170 (red plate) is referred to as the normal (full) route. The blue-plated 170 is referred to as 170X (KJ MRT - Kotaraya).

yes, please do refer to the blue plate as 170X.

170A, 170B... is reserved for additional short trips, not alternative routes.

The true reason could be that Transitlink had to produce less as there is already mighty minds street directory and they have to increase the price for it. I also spotted the poster at Toa Payoh. The book seem to be bigger than the past issue.

Causeway Link (CW1, CW2, CW3)
TNC 714, 715, 716 (Jurong Island)
Scheme B services
Bus Plus 541 & 547
Employee Bus (SBST): eg. EB88, EB42
Workers Transport Svcs (SMRT): eg. WT8

It's not out yet but all i can say is Causeway Link, TNC, Scheme B will not be published, maybe for mighty minds version

TNC n Bus Plus had always been present for Mighty Minds but not in Transitlink guides

Scheme B, i have never seen it printed anywhere and i myself do not know the routes

Employee buses will definitely not be out...for obvious reasons

If i'm not wrong, the TRANSITLINK guide only features services from SBST and SMRT only right?
