Although 48 is a fast service, the waitng time for the bus can be as long as 20 minutes. It might as well put up a plate to show approximate time for the next bus arrival. Evil or Very Mad

sbst275 SG

Em... Only when actual frequency is abv 15 mins peak Laughing

Hmm...Sv 186 ETA plates gone

^tamago^ SG

yes, payne, ETA plates are required only when any peak trip's freq exceeds 15mins or any off-peak trip's freq exceeds 20mins.

looks like 186 is the next guy to be unmarked. the last one i saw was 138's weekends being unmarked for ETA plates.

of cos, on the other end, we have 191 having worse freq recently.

Acx1688 SG

Oh,nothing... anyway there are quite a few MK IIIs, on 5th SBS828E, this morning i took SBS812A & also saw SBS854D so there are plates for Mk IIIs made...

Service 48 can compete with Service 853 between Marine Parade Rd to Upper East Coast Terminal on Sunday and public holidays. Very Happy Service 48 should allow 10 to 12 minutes of waiting time for the next bus. 20 minutes of waiting for the next bus is too long.

Townlink 268 SG

sv125 dont have the ''ETA" sign, even its freq is stated as 12-36 mins Sad
sv186 ETA gone? nev see le.. last 2 weeks still there..

also, sv138 had got ETA.. none a few years back..sv90 also got them for wekends.. sv506 also got.. then removed, now back again.. sv163, on the other hand, got them removed after a few weeks after enhanced to SKG.

does sv91 has ETA?
Bus Services does not have "ETA" at the interchanges.. should have ma.. Crying or Very sad

sbst275 SG

Sv 125 used to have ETA plates until withdrawn of 125A, as 125A is the one that drags the 1800+ frequency to 35 mins

Sv 90? Now recently then have, looks funny seriously, only show Sunday Laughing

Sv 91? Nope... As Peak frequency below 15 mins

tranquilice SG

I know that both services swapped berth before. Service 608 used to be at berth 4 (now 35, 225G, 225W) of the triple berths.

Service 25 as the competitor of service 854 is also having many buses but I see that service 25 is coping well at its present berth.

tranquilice SG

There's no real competition. Service 853 already has low passenger load between Upper East Coast and Marine Parade.

tranquilice SG

Passengers can refer to the TV. But recently some of the TVs at interchanges are either not working or removed. Rolling Eyes They includes Tampines, Clementi and Bukit Merah interchanges.

TIB1171R SG

Like any newly introduced service, the demand has to be monitored before adjustments on frequency to tailor the demand can be made. Nobody would want to waste fuel (and money) just like that.

105090 SG

854 moved to saw-toothed berths as it began to used bendies.. bendies wont fit into or welcomed by the stand-alone berths Razz

105090 SG

sv68 has the ETA in a laminated paper form @ TAM// also, talking about the TV, yeah.. either missing or spoilt.. also, no1 will want to walk to the other end of the interchange to see the dep. time.. planting then at the berth will be fine.. wont kill SBS.. sv107 (serangoon) used to have the metal plate saying its full/short rt (red n white).. now i dont see it at HG.. 82A also have plate at SG..

tranquilice SG

Have you seen services 188 and 963 bendies parked at HarbourFront interchange? When reversing out, it's an easy task for the SC.
