Why do you guys talk about the east? what about the west? Maybe service 48 can be extended to serve to Kent Ridge using Service 200’s route(exactly the same) and withdraw service 200. Hence, there will be less waiting time for passengers of South Buona Vista road.

But see, when SMRT 365 was being planned to be amended, they used the bendies to test the very small and narrow BB STREET 52...and soon, they made alterations to the road...dey adjusted the lane (coz even SD got problem turning there) , added two extra humps, altered a hump outside hillgrove sec...(now got 4 humps).... u see, LTA went through all the trouble juz to ensure that the bus can ply the road....
Trees are no big deal.. Itz not a Heritage road isnt it?

A company located along Bedok South Ave 1 with its main entrance there doesn't mean it cannot has a side entrance along Bedok South Rd.

SBST 229 calls at the stop outside Lions Home along Bedok South Rd, although the address of Lions Home is along Bedok South Ave 2, but that doesn't mean a bus service cannot ply next to the Lions Home along Bedok South Rd Exclamation

Did you read my past reply properly or not? I didn't say the whole stretch of Bedok South Ave 1 is not in Bedok Town.

Show me the proof that your street directory indicates the stretch of Bedok South Ave 1 between Upp East Coast Rd and Marine Parade Rd is a part of Bedok Town, then I have nothing to say.

I myself called that area Upp East Coast but it is wrong of you to call that area as Bedok just because the road name is Bedok South Ave 1 Exclamation

But 197 takes super long time to reach Bugis, 48 is express sector via ECP, thus it will be very much faster.
No, 36 doesnt go to Prinsep St, though to walk there from YMCA is near enuf I suppose. But the direct link to Selegie and Bt Timah from Marine should be a plus point.

How about having SBST48 to leave from BV via North Buona Vista Rd? The return route may still via Holland Drive.

Having that little change may benefit more commuters for easier transfer of buses. As there are many more bus services at bus stop along Commonwealth Ave West.

that part is still C'wealth Ave. C'wealth Ave West starts from the junction with North Buona Vista Rd. I dont understand how come people take that pair of bus stops to be at C'wealth Ave West? Rolling Eyes
