iveco SG To me, the 6 former Intratown routes run by SMRT (formerly Tibs) are as good as SBST's Townlinks. In fact, 811, 812, 911 & 912 were among the pilot batch of Townlink routes. The others were 268, 291, 293, 357-359.
cck_190 SG but it seems that 307 is still being referred to as an intratown. all the bus stop boards indicate it as an intratown
off_service SG The SMRT Buses electronic guides refers to all former Intratown services as feeders now. It could be a move to prevent misunderstandings on "Intratown" (N'hood A to B) and "Intertown" (Town A to B). If I'm not wrong SBS Transit uses "Intratown" for services like 3 and 38, for example. Also, 358 had it's "Townlink" words removed from desto. Actually now all SMRT "Intratown" and SBST "Townlink" services can be treated as feeder due to their flat fare status and the fare is the lowest of the band (90 cents). After all, they still serve the same town, except different neighbourhoods. "Intratown" for trunk services plying between 2 town definitely gives more meaning to this term.
dO|pH|n3 a.k.a JaMiE SG I saw that Townlink 358 has been rename to 358 but how come Townlink 291 and 293 did not?
sbwangboy SG Yes, the main problem travelling out from S'wang is when going to the NorthEast and East. Have to take a bus or MRT to Yishun to transfer to 39, 858, 969, 965. Hope that they don't introduce redundant services that goes to the West or South since the MRT is a better and more direct choice.
supremebull SG Ask SBST. No idea here either. New destos for 291 and 293 still reflect Townlink status
delonchew SG The side desto still labels the service as Townlink 358. I believe that they were just reprinting the front desto and decided to go for a standardised look.
gorby107 SG Anybody know how many berths and the parking spaces for the buses have in the new Sembawang Int????? But their facilities will be same as other normal Interchange with canteen and toilets and so on??? I am such a noob on this
alex_cai92 SG 1st qn. : refer to the Sembawang Int Photo sumone posted.... 2nd qn. : duh...interchange leh...
sBs_boy SG Parking spaces.. ?? im sorry to say that nobody here can give you a exact answer to your question of how many parking spaces aer there. Reason being is that they have not draw the parking lots yet.. But.. my estimation is about 20 buses at most...
gorby107 SG 20 buses??? But I look at the pic provided by one of the forumers and see that the parking space is quite big is it??? If 20 that means that Sembawang Int will house a few services only??? Correct me if I am wrong
sBs_boy SG If all 12m deck bus... can be more than 20 buses.. but you've got to remember something.. SMRT is using 18m Bendies.. p.s. 20 parking spaces is more than enough.. SGK have only 16 Parking Lotz and they have S80 / S372 / S163 / S159 / S156 / S86 / S87 / S119...
carbikebus SG I thought you were asking how many Toilets are there also BTW,I feels it is much bigger than Hougang Central Interchange
iveco SG Does SBW MRT have any Transitlink ticket office? If there isn't, hope the bus interchange will have one.
