Cant be that fast to 8 mins, i have never encountered anything less than 10 mins for my 506 rides. Usually 15 -20 mins and today's 506 frequency seemed to worsen quite a bit.

You can take service 975 to Bukit Panjang and transfer to services 75 or 184. Now, that's 2 rides instead of 3, but you have to spend quite an amount of time in Bukit Panjang.

service 59 should not use Toa Payoh Lorong 1. There are very little passengers there that will take 59, unlike Toa Payoh Lorong 6(where 57 and 238 serves).
It should also use Jalan Toa Payoh, so as to achieve more passengers.

all the 3 new svcs will start off with single deck buses. If the demand is high, most likely there will be double deck buses plying. Svc 52 most likely 2 have dd buses. Just wait & see.

Svc 48, 57 & 58 wont get double deck buses.

57 or 59 is better off plying Lor 8 to provide a direct link from Bishan to Toa payoh industrial park, as for lor 1, some of the buses which ply lor 4 should use lor 1 or 2 instead, lor 4 is too congested with long lines of buses

Hmmm… I think svc 52 has the unique trait of exiting RIGHT out of an expressway since the Jalan Anak Bukit exit is on the right-most lane. Now I’m wondering if the gradation involved in that stretch will create problems for a full load DD.

I think Svc 52 to Bishan won’t be a fast one during evening peak hours due to the frequent jam at the PIE exit to Lornie Rd. Off topic: can a bus changes it’s express sector to suit the road conditions (eg jams)?

I dun see any pt seriously, Bt Timah road can be heavily jammed bet 0645 and 0730 (Which makes svs like 151 often late).
