These 3 new service is coming soon tmw.

Sv 43 will be control at HGDEP (Punggol Route Group)
Sv 52 will be soon lee depot and AMK Depot (Jurong East Route Gruop)
Sv 59 will be AMK depot (Bishan Route Group)

Soon Lee and Hougang Depot have more spare buses not Bedok Depot.

A question of curiosity. When does SBST put up new numbers at the metal pole on every bus stop whenever there is a new bus service on the way? And what material do they use to sort of add or erase the numbers on the red SBST board at each bus stop whenever there is a new bus service or a bus service is going to be withdrawn?

For withdrawn services or services no longer calling at a stop, a red sticker was pasted on the number.

174M is a NiteOwl service. FFW = 174e. Some of the FFW BCs use Farrer Rd, PIE, Jln Jurong Kechil while others use Holland Rd, Clementi Rd, Upp Bt Timah Rd.

If a bus strays off its designated route, even if there isn't any accident, the BC has to answer to the company if he's caught. Most probable punishment: suspension of up to 7 days. If there's an accident, the company will be responsible but the BC will be in hot soup.

What happened to 16M, 89M, 162M & 181M? I don’t see the bus svc nos on bus stop plates anymore, but it operates during festive seasons if I’m not wrong.

Svc 52 using Mercedes-Benz O405 WA, DM, CAC DM & mayb Leyland Olympian 3-AXLES buses
Svc 59 using Mercedes-Benz O405 WA, DM, CAC DM buses.

yeah they only run during the festive seasons, so probably they thot it isnt worthwhile to put them up on the bus stop plates. moreover, ppl who wanna go out on late nights probably would have "planned how to go home" already.

16M, 162M, 89M and 181M are also not placed in TL Guide 2006. It gives me the idea that these services are withdrawn. Does anyone know their schedule during the festive seasons?

Last bus: 4am
Frequency: 20min
Number of buses for each service: 6
Operational during Christmas Eve, New Years Eve & Chinese New Year Eve.

svc 52 has abt 10-11 buses (282-581,1696-1895,3723-3922 types) for off peak hrs. Journey is around 65mins from jurong east to bishan.
