having a radiator at the mid-section doesn't mean the
engine is at the mid-section.
both B9TL and B10TL have rear-mounted transverse engines. hence,
the handle at the hind of VSO does lead to the engine. if the
engine is not at the back, how can it be low-floor. and no, though
the radiator of the VSO is below the staircase, the engine can't
fit there. the engines and radiator are linked by shafts. i dun
think any bus chassi manufacturer has come up with such a
side-mounted engine yet.
the B10M has a mid-mounted engine, hence the 'M'. it's radiator and
the engine are next to each other. B9TL's radiator will be like tat
(at the back), jus tat it's facing the right.
