BUS services that i dont like travelling with

tranquilice SG

If you are very near the bus, yes, bus driver will stop for you. But if you are still a distance away, don't expect the bus driver to do so.

NOTE: A lot of people takes service 67 from schools in BUKIT TIMAH back to their home in Tampines.

They should take to Little India and transfer to service 23. Laughing

Service 36 is the worst. Always no seats and the bus is always crowded when i always board at parkway parade bus stop. Mad

alex_cai92 SG

Hmm...you are wrong, going to school and coming back is peak hours.
Taking buses and transfer to 23 is the same as 67 + you muz transfer.

I noe bcoz i study @ BT and stay in TAM
and
any other transfer dun work during peak as well

Ind Svs, waiting @ Bus Int during early AM peak (0630-0800) is super long queue

alex_cai92 SG

Hmm....from my knowledge(90% correct), BC or SC have no control over the A/C. It is all preset.

Talking abt aircon,

some habits the aircon fan control roller some spoil liao

Do you mean in other words that during peak hours, services 23 and 67 buses departing from Tampines at the same time will take around the same time to reach Rochor Canal Rd?

esp if they use the single body one, not those bendy bus. aircon not cool enuf, and i check the display on top of the driver seat. it read 29'C. If he has any service orientation, he shld bring it down to a comfortable 26. How dumb.

All public buses air-con are automatic controlled with the engines,The only thing that the Drivers can do is to press the blower fan or not Smile

then if air-cons are automatic, how does one explains the heating of SBS MB O405 especially? its famous for blowing warm air on hot afternoons.

I noticed that aircon wind movement can be very bad on CAC buses esp near the exit

This reminds me:

A couple weeks back, i was walking to the bus stop opp. paya lebar mrt station when i saw my bus 70 at the bus stop. I ran over but by the time i reached the bus, the passengers have all finished boarding and the doors just closed liao.

However, the bus was still at the bus stop and couldn't move at all cos there was a bad jam and the traffic light was red. So i tried tapping the bus's front door and waving to try get the driver's attention to open the door for me to board. But to my disgust, the driver didn't even turn around to look at me, he just waved his hand in my direction, refusing to open the door... AND THE BUS WAS SO EMPTY!

And it wasn't as though the bus was already about to move off.. after waving me away, the bus stayed at the bus stop for a couple of minutes more before the lights turned green and it could move off.

I was really pissed off... what kind of attitude is that? Evil or Very Mad

I hate taking Sv 151 if need to get to Clementi Ave 2/ C’wealth Ave West area during AM peak aft 0730 – 0830, bus overloaded with students!

Depending on which CAC buses you are refering to. Personally I find the Scania CAC, Volvo mark IIs CAC and Mercedes CAC (SBST) pretty alright.

This one... I think it also occures at my school's bus stop. I just finish school, so I walked towards the bus stop to board 74 home. Just stepping out of school, I saw 74, so I ran and tried to catch the bus. I saw alot of students boarding. And I nearly reach the bus stop, the bus door had closed and waiting for the traffic to clear. I went over and tapped the door, but the BC waved his hand to me and then drove off. I think maybe the waiting time is up, because alot of students is boarding, and so wasted alot of time, so behind schedule.
