I saw a DD on sv 91 air-con yesterday and DD(volvo) non-aircon today. Why they decided to use DD… When did u first seen it?

Well there is one NAC DD on Service 91 and it is a cross over from Service 74 the bus can be seen during peak hours.

the perm x-over NAC DD is 7290J from 74. it comes to 91 only during peak hours.

indeed, yesterday, 9294K from service 14 cameoed on 91, replacing 7290J.

91A runs till ARBP only.

As for the VO2x, it helps AM Peak to be 7-11 mins frequency. But PM peak, horrible waiting time.

VO2x has been deployed on 91 since the LO2x retired (around that time)...

As to why, see the MK2, hardly can cope with peak hr demand esp AM peak

did 91 ever used LO2x? i tot is used mk2?
and how come sv182, 192, 252 etc are using mk2s? when a LO2x cant cope, can a mk2 cope better?
sv92 also used extra mk2s during peak hrs.. 92 during off-peak is all used dennis darts?

slbp ran out of VO2Xs...so the only NAC buses left are the mk2s

There are talks about sv182 getting DDs but so far nothing definite yet.

i think sv252 5 mins freq is to cpmpensate for the mk2s instaed of DD VO2x.. 182 not sure also.. only sv to serve tuas south.

Who says 182 has no DD? It used to have LO2Xes in the past, when it was still Jurong East-Tuas.

I have seen MK2s on service 92 during off-peak.

There are currently no DDs on service 182 but it had VO2x until recently (last year if I'm not mistaken). Before the VO2x came into the service, it had LO2x.

And when it was shortened to Boon Lay-Tuas. But it has been using SDs ever since it merged with 183.

Service 182 still used LO2x and thereafter VO2x after merging with service 183. But the VO2x were taken out later (last year if I'm not mistaken).

as i took sv182 in 3 eras, i found this:
sv182 (JE Tuas) used 3 MB O405 NAC
later, when the NAC were converted, 182 got 3 LO2x. Subsequently, 182 moved to Boon Lay.
then after LO2x disappeared, i been hearing about mk2s on them, including SBS1888A Razz .

PS: sv183 (Tuas South also used 2 MB O405 NAC, b4 changing to LO2x as well)

Service 182 (Jurong East - Tuas) used a full LO2x fleet. I had never seen SDs on this route.

Service 182 (Boon Lay - Tuas South) had Dennis Darts for a short period of time in the second half of 2002. The Dennis Darts were deployed after the service was merged with service 183 in May 2002.

Service 183 (Tuas - Tuas South) was FAC when introduced in July 1998. I think there was a period of time when it was NAC. Confused

Service 182 current fleet is using MK2s.
