Can we order now?

CAIX SG

What and where are the branches of the Times Bookshop?

The_Bus_Guide SG

Hi all,

The price of the book will be set by the bookshop under normal trading terms, something which the author has no control. However, since there will be no freight cost, which is about GBP8 per book from UK, it should be not much different than SGD50.

You can order the book now from any TIMES Bookshop in Singapore. You can also wait for the book to be released, if you want.

Popular Book store have?

CAIX SG

The author should sell the book at popular bookstore because many adults and children will visit popular bookstore, rather than the Times Bookshop

By the way, i went to suntec city Times Bookshop branch and the sales girls said that there is NO such book published. Sad

Hello everyone, I am the author of the new SBS book and would urge as many as of you possible to order from your favourite bookshop, Popular Bookshop or Times or any other. The more requests they have the more likely thay are to stock the book.
It will be available from about 15th June. Look on my website www.BooksDTS.co.uk for details on how to order for local delivery from the Singapore printer.
I hope you enjoy the book.

SBS9889U SG

what is the book about and why is it so expensive?

MikeDTS SG

I am sorry if the price seems high but if you care to look at my website and those of others in the UK and Hong Kong selling similar bus books, it is a very reasonable price.
In order to keep the price affordable in Singapore, I have had some copies printed there so as to reduce freight charges from the UK.
If you care to look at www.BooksDTS.co.uk you will see the description of the content. Please click on the picture of the book cover for some idea of what the content looks like.
I hope that you like my book and enjoy reading it. I have tried to provide as many technical details as I can discover from extensive research in the bus trade press and from other people who know the buses of Singapore.

Will it be cheaper to order the book or buy the book when it is published..?

105090 SG

maybe u can wait a while and try to get it second hand? $50.. well, if its 30, then more can afford it.. how about if we order in bulk and ask for discounts?

MikeDTS SG

I can't speak for bookshop prices but if you buy direct from DTS the price will be GBP £16.50 plus £2 postage = £18.5 at the exchange rate of the day.
You can send a Singapore dollar cheque for $55 total to
DTS Sales, PO Box 105, CROYDON, CR9 2TL, UK. and the book will be delivered by courier to you as soon as possible after receipt of the payment.
Check www.BooksDTS.co.uk for order form.

CAIX SG

CAIX SG

Is the book out yet????? I’ve waited for 5 days and there is no news about it!!!!!

If I am not wrong, I read from the NLB Website that ALL Books printed in Singapore have to have at least a copy submitted to the NLB

MikeDTS SG

From the lead author/publisher

The book is now available in Singapore - or would be if the bookshops would stock it!

Two copies have been deposited with National Library but as I am a UK resident I don't know where they will be, when available or how to find out.

Order direct from me via www.BooksDTS.co.uk and as soon as your postal order for GBP £18.50 (£16.50 + £2 delivery) arrives with your order form I will have a copy sent round to you same day.
