Wah silverkris didi
..long time no see
you appear out of the
blue and give a good reply! How did your exam results go?
Zilchster is very strange hor
senior member some more (!!)
He appears unaware this is a forum where people are ALLOWED to have
different thoughts on the same subject. Maybe he is influenced by
school too much
.he can only accept one model answer (his
own).
So many 'opinion threads' here but no one is quarrelling except
him. In addition, no one has any sense, unless they agree with
him.
Silverkris, please use some sense..........PJ Quek doesn't make
any sense........

I think people can tell who is being reasonable here, and who is
being unreasonable. The best solution is to ignore his silly
retorts and move on. Otherwise this will have no end. O.K. everyone
DO NOT RESPOND
further.
I hope PJ_Quek hasnt been intimidated though.
My two cents worth on service 16:
Service 16 seems to have more than its fair share of controversies.
Many were unhappy when it took over the route of 390 to the
airport. Some complained when 36 was introduced from Bukit Merah
later, and now 36 has taken over roughly the same route of the
former 390, and operates a similar route as 16 from town.
Perhaps the routes of 16 and 36 can be amended to become
complementary, so that 16 can use DDs? i.e. avoiding narrow lanes
and height gantries.
Not too sure if it'll work. Just my take on the subject.
To digress a little, I remember the good old days (ok I am older
than most here) when many interchanges had specific services that
served Orchard Road.
168 Ang Mo Kio- Orchard Road
140 Toa Payoh- Orchard Road
23 Tampines- Orchard Road
Things were less complicated then. (but of course smaller
population, no mrt)
