New SBST service, call it sbst 115

last SG · 2004-11-01T20:58:22+00:00

You live in this area too? Small world. I am thinking of writing in to SBST about this. The fact that 53 goes all the way to Changi and turning back, means...

gohby SG

Ok lah, then what you suggest to make 115 better? Withdraw 115 or 119? Lame shi+, act like you very smart like that Evil or Very Mad

iveco SG

IMO, 119 better off merged with 153. It can ease parking woes at Hougang Central Interchange.

sbst275 SG

Actually, Sv 115 and 119 merge. To fill up the gap emptied by Sv 51, 151 aft they moved to Hougang Ctrl.

Sengkang Sq, Compassvale Rd, Sengkang East Way, Rivervale Dr, Sengkang East Ave, Punggol Rd, Hg Ave 8, Upp Serangoon Rd, Hg St 21, (Hg Ave 1), Tampines Rd, Hg Ave 3, Airport Rd, Ubi Rd 2, Ubi Ave 3, Eunos Link, Hg Ave 3, Tampines Rd, (Hg Ave 1), Hg St 21, Upp Serangoon Rd, Hg Ave 8, Punggol Rd, Sengkang East Ave, Rivervale Dr, Sengkang East Way, Sengkang Sq

An I talking nonsense???

gohby SG

I never claimed that you are talking nonsense. The primary purpose for this 115 is to fill up the gap emptied by Sv 51, 151 aft they moved to Hougang Ctrl as you had said, so if 115 is really crappy and redundant then SBS transit will most prolly withdraw it after the 6 months.

huaiwei SG

The company seems to have too much money making the effort to introduce and then withdraw services so quickly? Hope the shareholders make noises at the next AGM? Very Happy

Anyway, the only positive thing about not merging 115 and 119 is that you can micromanage the frequencies of each service's schedules and such. Sometimes merging everything may not always be a good idea....there is a trade-off involved.

Like my stupid 53. Route so bloody long...forever cause me to be late by the time it gets to my area with funny arrival times! Very Happy

Checking e guide

Frequency is 20-25 mins

tranquilice SG

Frequency is 45 minutes between 1055am and 1140am. (From Hougang St 21) Laughing

sbst275 SG

Lunch time mah... Some svs between 1100-1230 has frequency of 30 mins... Uploaded on SBS e guide, notice the broad frequency range on svs

What a small world, I live in Hougang too.

sbst275 SG

Actually since Sv 113 is a trunk rt, it should be extended to Serangoon as it is nearer to Lor Ah Soo from Serangoon MRT (If take into account that I come from South)... Sv 53 have to wait 11-12 mins during PM Peak especially

gohby SG

In my personal opinion, i feel 113 should be withdrawn. Duplicates most parts of 62.

Then write to sbstransit lorz....

alantanchunshyan SG

frequency so bad Shocked ?got to feedback to sbstransit about it. Wink

tranquilice SG

The 45 minutes frequency during the mentioned period of time is due to meal break.

alantanchunshyan SG

the bad frequency reminds me of smrt Mr. Green

kuekj SG

why they don't indicate like smrt 177 like..

morning 1st bus..
morning last bus..

afternoon 1st bus
afternoon last bus...

and don't let the poor passengers wait for 45 mins cursing and swearing the captain..

alantanchunshyan SG

should feedback to smrt about this

tranquilice SG

Passengers of service 115 can refer to the arrival time posters put up at all bus stops along the route.

I do agree that 45 minutes frequency is too long.
