Anybody here has taken bus 925 before? The loop service from woodlands interchange turn around Kranji Reservoir. I used to take that bus every day.

It u turns there to go back to CCK or WDL, it does not loop there

I have taken it once

BTW, where is the BS, I can't find it other than the one that is used on Sun/ PHs

Now i think they go to Kranji on Sundays and Public holidays only. There are two routes running at the same time. One bus 925 will go from woodlands to cck the next bus 925 will be a loop service from woodlands to kranji back to woodlands. You must check with the bus driver before you board.

A few years ago it was a loop service from Woodlands and turn around at carpark at Kranji dam. There is no BS.

March 1996 to current:
Weekdays and Saturdays - Woodlands - Choa Chu Kang
Sundays and Public Holidays - Woodlands - Sungei Buloh loop service

On weekdays and Saturdays, passengers along Kranji Way between Sungei Kadut Dr and Kranji Reservoir car park have to look at the front EDS bus desto to know which direction the bus is heading to, before they board the bus.

The part of the route which is the same daily is between Woodlands and Kranji Reservoir Park.

My guess: the bus stops are used by the companies' buses to ferry workers to and fro the MRT station.

probably some LTA’s requirement that bus stops be located within a certain distance from MRT stations to enable hassle-free transfers to buses since MRT forms the backbone of the transport system with buses being like feeders to MRT.

Again, pte buses are still barred from using Bus Int and bus stops actually. That's why the 648 scheme B bus doesn't enter the TPY int

That's not logical, the MRT can never be able to serve everywhere (Like PLAB or CACC). Buses are still the most direct to anywhere.

Also, the MRT frequency is quite bad nowadays as well, 7 mins on the SMRT when NEL is 6 min

When the current TPY started, the scheme B queues are present. It was after 2002 that the plates are removed.

Daytime off peak: 8-9 min. There're certain times during the daytime off peak that this occurs. However in the mid afternoon its usually 5-8 min.
