btw the best way from BSH – PSR / TAM is 55 to Hougang Ave 3, transfer to 72 for Tampines or 81 for Pasir Ris.

Take 88 can liaoz... faster. But problem lies on 22. 22 passes thru many schools... about 15 schools or so. Those living in Tampines studying in my school will rather take 22 than MRT. Trust me. No one takes 969 to Tampines to Khatib and then take bus/MRT back to AMK.

Exiting Jln TPY you only can go to Thomson Rd (Keng Lee Rd), not Thomson Rd (Upp Thomson Rd).

A groups of my friends took 22 to their homes in Bedok Reservoir and Tampines just now from Lor Chuan area. I was happy to note that there's a direct bus to their home sweet homes late at night. It gives me less worries too! Very Happy Smile

Personally I feel that 22 is a good route but i think under CCL rationalisation, they will either

1. cut short to serangoon
OR
2. integrate with some other services.

22 is also the alternative from AMK to serangoon/paya lebar after 2300 hrs.

Note that the last bus of 24 is at 2300 hrs while 22 is 2330 hrs.

Do you mean cut short from AMK - SGN or TAM - SGN?

It is kinda hard to integrate 22 with some other service...maybe merge with Sv 11??

I was thinking of Sv 22 integrating with Sv 70. Some benefits include YCK Rd residents with a direct link to Ubi, Bedok Reservoir and Tampines.

Who would enjoy a 1+ hr ride on it? People would rather take MRT to Buona Vista and walk in.

btw there is no point amending 22 to become TAM - SGN, it will still duplicate CCL...might as well just leave it then...

97: Withdrawn. Route covered by 107 from Connaught Drive towards Jurong East and 970 from Esplanade Drive towards Marina Centre.

106: Amended to loop at Marina Centre via Raffles Avenue, Temasek Boulevard, Temasek Avenue, Rochor Road (express), Beach Road and Stamford Road.

107: Merged with 97 and extended towards Jurong East. 107X sector covered by 106.

162: Shortrnrd to terminate at Marina Centre on all days via Raffles Avenue and Marina Centre Terminal. Withdrawn sector covered by 502/183.

502: Extended towards Shenton Way Terminal on weekdays via Connaught Drive, Fullerton Road, Collyer Quay, Raffles Quay, Shenton Way, Palmer Road and Shenton Way Terminal. Return via Anson Road, Robinson Road, Collyer Quay, Fullerton Road, Empress Place and Stamford Road. Converted to trunk service and renumbered 183. Weekend trips loop at Marina Centre and denoted by 183X.

970: Extended to Marina Centre Terminal via Collyer Quay, Fullerton Road, Esplanade Drive, Temasek Avenue, Temasek Boulevard, Raffles Avenue and Marina Centre Terminal. Return via Raffles Boulevard, Connaught Drive, Fullerton Road, Collyer Quay, Raffles Quay and Cross Street.

11: Withdrawn. Route covered by new MRT line.

22: Amended to ply between Tampines and SIms Place (loop) via Paya Lebar Road, Geylang East Central, Sims Drive, Sims Place, Geylang Lorong 17, Sims Avenue, Aljunied Road and Geylang East Central.

24: Diverted to ply Ubi Avenue 2, Eunos Link, Jalan Eunos and Sims Avenue East. Paya Lebar Road served by MRT and 70.

28: Cut short to ply between Tampines and Eunos.

76: Amended to loop at MacPherson Estate via MacPherson Road, Aljunied Road, Merpati Road, CIrcuit Road, Pipit Road, Circuit Road, Mattar Road, Aljunied Road and MacPherson Road. Passengers travelling towards Marine Parade can transfer to 135 at MacPherson Estate.

80: Cut short to ply between Sengkang and Serangoon via Upper Paya Lebar Road, Bartley Road, Serangoon Avenue 1, Serangoon Central and Serangoon Interchange.

125: Extended to Eunos via Geylang East Central, Paya Lebar Road, Sims Avenue, Eunos Road 2 and Eunos Interchange. Withdrawn sector covered by 22. Converted to full-day service with weekend operations.

155: Extended to Upper East Coast via East Coast Road, Upper East Coast Road and Upper East Coast Terminal. Will ply Merpati Road, Circuit Road, Circuit Link (express), Paya Lebar Road and SIms Avenue towards Upper East Coast. Return trip will ply Paya Lebar Road, Circuit Link (express), Circuit Road, Pipit Road, Circuit Road, Mattar Road and Aljunied Road.

158: Cut short to ply between Geylang Lorong 1 and Tanjong Rhu (loop).

Good idea for 22 to go to Sims Place. 158 should probably stay because there would be no services left on Bartley Rd if you chop / shorten 28 and 93. 28 & 24 should be untouched.

Might as well withdraw 80 rather to loop at Serangoon.
