How come Tampines Ave 2 is in between Ave 7 and Loyang Ave? Yishun Ave 5 and Ave 7 are not connected together.

i am sorry to tell you that it will be run by YCKdep (TIBS AMK depot basically). in fact there will be sharing of SP buses from YCK for 851 and 850s once the service starts.

yes but i found out that 188 does call at "the back" of the Bt batok MRT. i walked like hell. and also to clementi int u had to walk like hell from the WRC bus stop along AYE.

It would be good if SBST pick it up. Previously going to Temasek Polytechnic from HV, I would take TIBS 106 to Serangoon and SBST 23 to TP.

Alternatively it could be:
a. Sixth Ave, Holland Rd, North Buona Vista Rd (OS Blk 17 Holland Dr), North Buona Vista Rd (BV MRT)...

b. Adam Road, Farrer Road, Holland Rd, Holland Ave, .....

c. Holland Ave, Commonwealth Ave, Commonwealth Ave West (Dover MRT), Clementi Rd, Kent Ridge Terminal.

Recently, my friend living in Bt. Panjang complained that there are no direct links to the east side of Singapore.

So, introducing 'DBS'180

Boon Lay - Bt Panjang ( As usual ) follow 171/963 route to Bt Panjang Rd, BKE, SLE, TPE, Jln Kayu flyover, TPE, Punggol Rd, Sengkang East Ave, Sengkang Int.

Jln kayu stop to allow transfer to svc 168 to TMP/ BDK, 86 to YCK/AMK. Also svc858 to SIN.

Estimated time needed is max 1.5hrs from Boon Lay, max 1hr from Bt Panjang. This beats taking 190 to city and transfering, or sit MRT until butt pain Razz

Then your 180 cannot use bendies already. Sengkang Int does not have space for bendies. Anyway, 180 takes less than 1.5 hours to get from Boon Lay to Bt Panjang. Normally, it takes close to 45 mins.

Actually, I do go to Bt Panjang at least 3 times a week and I stay in the east (PSR). This is how I get there.

89 to Sengkang
161 to Woodlands
187/963 to Bt Panjang.

But I agree that there is a severe lack of service from the Northwestern part of Singapore to the eastern parts.

yes. i skipped a few parts but is understood the bus goes along East Coast road past katong and then after that follows 608 to int.

seems to be a big round and long route.....hahahhaha

I intended it to be something like svc 965, which means go in and out without stopping, but according to my calculations, it can park at the bends comfortably for short periods if the driver wants to visit the loo. My calculations show that it will take approx 50mins, as it takes ard 30 mins from BNL to BP, and then 161 takes a minimum of 20 mins from Woodlands to Sengkang., and it takes ard 5-10mins from BP to WDL depending on traffic. Hence, assuming that the bendies can speed at 90k like my 2836T, and without catching fire along the way ( laughs ), the minimum time needed is ard 1hr.

The O405Gs will have lots of problems manouvering inside SK Int. They are limited to 60km/h, and 2836T CANNOT go at 90km/h.

Amber Road is at the west of MP Rd. Also there is no way cars can turn right from Amber Road to East Coast Rd (IMO)

provide link to katong for marine parade and Eunos residents. (i know 608 works for Marine parade residents)

also needed to route 966 to Bedok ebcause i ahd withdrawn ZYX48 (SBS16 Cool and integrated that ZYX48 with ZYX969 .

However if the Woodlanders insist on the current SBS168 route then they can take ZYX116 to jln Kayu camp and transfer to ZYX969.

Because ZYX116 and ZYX969 are through fare buses. one only pays for what distance he took and not 2 bus trips of fares. for example if one insits on SBS168's route then by ZYX116 and ZYX969 he pays for just one trip ($1.50)
