Sentosa Bus Green Line

Why is green line operated by Sentosa Development Corporation while the blue, yellow and red lines are operated by private bus operators?

The route of green line is:
Ferry Terminal Underwater World/Siloso Beach Cable Car Underwater World/Siloso Beach Ferry Terminal

Isn't it more logical to go to Cable Car first from Ferry Terminal, then go to Underwater World/Siloso Beach?

Yes, I guess those B7RLEs (in orange livery) are operated by private operators. SDC which operates the green line has its own fleet of NAC buses in green livery.

I am inclined to believe that the orange buses are by private operators as I have seen some of those buses ferrying people in other parts of Singapore. Of course, these could be employee buses, though.

The Volvo B7RLEs are operated by SDC. I asked a driver before.

These buses were once deployed on the Tiong Bahru MRT-Sentosa service (ex-Sentosa C) and WTC-Sentosa Visitor's Centre service (ex-Sentosa A). I believe these buses belongs to Woodlands Transport which took over the operations from SBSL. You can see them all over Singapore now as these buses are no longer used for the Sentosa shuttles.

SDC owns the B7RLEs and the B7Rs, as reported in the media not long ago when SDC announces its acquisition of the so-called Singapore's first wheelchair-accessible buses.

The buses that I have seen around Singapore are the B7Rs with the livery shown in the picture by Tranquilice above.

So are those still SDC buses or Woodlands transport? The drivers are wearing the yellow shirts that I've seen on Sentosa bus drivers.

When the news paper article said that the B7RLEs are wheel chair accessible, did they mean the buses have the wheel chair lift or what?

Cos I never noticed any wheel chair lifts on the buses.

The RU series buses are owned by SDC. The PA4144Y, 4137 and 4138 buses are also SDC owned. The rest are by Woodlands Transport.

It's a nice bus but don't you think it's a bit too small? I mean, what SBS will bo looking for is a nice 11m long bus. Is there an 11m version of the B7RLE? And yes, keep the EDS so that people can know where the bus is heading.

The buses you mentioned are Volvo B7Rs.

If I am not wrong, they are built with coach chassis. The low floor B7Rs (B7RLE) are in the range of RU 37xx.

Anyone confirm this?
