I don't mind having trains, but the most important thing is that
they have to properly integrate the fare system and not using the
pathetic transfer rebate system.
My personal idea is that an end-to-end farestage system with a 10c
(to bus) or 20c (to train/train only) transfer premium.
For example, a trip from Ubi to Boon Lay Gardens (63 -> MRT
-> 240) has a total farestage of, let's say, 40 stages. At the
current fare, 40 stages would be $1.53. Add the 30c transfer
premium, that would cost $1.83. I believe this would be a more
integrated fare system.
