Services using DDs

Pls compile a list everyone who knows more during the period 1993-2004. 9818, on my record 385 is on the list.

187, 300, 302 and 307 have used DDs when it was still with SBS.
188 never used DDs. At least the 188 that I know (Jurong - Jurong West St 91) 188 have appeared on 3 different routes. Which 188 are you referring to?

I think he is talking abt the current as he is naming himself 190, from CCK.

The SBST 188 that served CCK to World Trade Centre when new used Atlanteans.

DD only appeared on service 188 in the last few months under SBST. Before that, the whole fleet is MB 0405 if I remembered correctly.

I remembered back in 1994, I took a DD on service 187 (Bt Panjang - Boon Lay), the seats are red in colour.

I think you are right. They appeared around August or September 2000.

I vaguely remembered (just today) that there was a Service 8 (not the current Tampines – Toa Payoh one) which plied from Bedok to Shenton Way. Think it used Leyland Atlanteans.

Yes, there was. Bedok to Marina Centre via Shenton Way. Still amazes me how powerful the Atlanteans were when it went up the slip road ramp to ECP (Changi Airport).

If I'm not wrong, it started off as a Bedok - Shenton Way bus. (via Guillemard Road and Nicoll Highway and subsequently Bedok South and ECP)

But towards the year of withdrawal, it was changed to Bedok - Marina Centre via Shenton Way, which by itself, is a bit on the funny side as it passes Marina Centre twice.

Need to check the bus guides to confirm this....

This look similar to the route of former Express 503 (Tampines - Marina Centre via Bedok, Marine Parade, ECP and Shenton Way).

I'm not sure if what you said meant the same thing, but sv 961C (weekend route) passes by Marina Centre in both directions (Towards Geylang Lor 1 and Woodlands).

If the driver forgot to change the EDS display, you will find yourself ending up at the wrong place.

Nope. I meant more like the following:

If SBST said that service 36 plies between Changi Airport and Marina Centre via Orchard, service 36 would pass "Marina Centre" twice. This was the case with former service 8.
