Nope, it wasn't you, it was another member of this forum (I shall not mention the name) who sweep away all the 80s bus guide when I was there, and when I re-visited it, they were no longer on that shelf.

I would like to know the route from 1985 up to its withdrawal.

Hmm, interesting that the 1985 version enters and exits the ECP at totally different points!

I believe the section between Nicoll Highway and Fort Rd was deleted and the route was amended via Raffles Blvd to get to the ECP. In this case, Marina Centre was the last stop before heading back to Bedok. Hence, the Bedok - Marina Centre via Shenton Way desto was true.

So service 8 only plied Marina Centre once and not twice, during the entire period of operation?

Most probably yes, unless there were other amendments. The route we're looking for is contained inside Bus Guide 88. I've yet to check it out at the NRL.
