hmm......no wonder it takes ages to print I flipped through past year guides and found that its Sdn Berhad from the 2002 version. This is rather weird........

It is now on sale and it cost $5.25 ($0.25 GST). It is bigger than the usual guide and it gives bus stop details as well.

It is going to be a burnt hole as many are not going to but a guide that cost $5.25! But I'm ok bt it.

Thought of buying it after the closure of hougang south and wandering where will svs 51 terminated.

It will not be Sengkang as there was a recent reply in Shin Ming Ri Bao as a reader was asking for 51 to be extended to Sengkang, obviously it was rejected. It may just follow to HGN and a puzzle will arrive for 322, 327, 328.

322 - You can take 72 and fares is within $0.63
327 - May just go from HGN
328 - Totally withdrawn
321 - HGN - KVN - Hg St 11 (Loop) as 62 does not call KVN and last bus is at 2330. Also fares may be higher from HGN if taking 62.

I am putting KVN as HG Sth Int as of the MRT Stn name and HGN for Hg Ctrl Int as stn name is HGN. Just follow the MRT coding.

for me, HGC and HGS is my hougang int coding.. after HGS closes, i'll use the HGN coding for HGC Smile

It is not called Transitlink Guide 2004. It is called Singapore Public Transportation Guide 2004. It is roughly the size of an excercise book. At first, I thought the size and price was that of the previous guides, which were sold at $1.50. I was surprised when the sales assistant told me it costs $5.00! It was very nice of her to tell me the price beforehand and she was even kind enough to let me flip through it. In the end, I declined politely.

For those who are hoping for the familiar Transitlink Guide, there wouldn't be any.

Why?

I initial thought that the ACTUAL 2004 TLink Guide is out.. I didnt know you guys were referring to the S'pore PT Guide... It has been on sale since the first week of Jan AFAIK. I wouldnt buy this until the actual Transitlink Guide 2004 is out. Judging by the timing of 2002 edition which was released in April that year, I think the 2004 version would be released in March.

As for the 2004/2005 Singapore Street Directory, it'll be out the earliest June 2004, latest September 2004.

But from what I see, T Link will not print anymore guide as they are not doing fare cards anymore.

Moreover, in the future, LTA will be directly provisioing the transit.smart network. That's why some of my complaints were given to LTA via PTC as PTC is not doing audit but it is LTA.

Is that your own coding, or the official coding provided by LTA, or SBST for that matter?

The following station codings is puzzling me; CKG, WGL & BKG.

CKG would be Clarke Quay, but where is the "G" in Clarke Quay?
WGL would be Woodleigh, but the "G" should be after the "L" in WoodLeiGh.
Likewise for BKG (Buangkok), the "G" should be before the "K", as in BuanGkoK. Oh yes, there are 2 "BKG" codings there, Boon Keng and Buangkok.

Please enlighten us, or at least me. Thank you.

Correct. I'd wait for the OFFICIAL, LTA-sanctioned version, which is much cheaper anyway. Not that I can't do without it, as I go on trips without using it anyway.
