service_238 SG Service 160 was renumbered Svc 980 on the day it was extended to Geylang Lor 1 Terminal when Crawford Terminal was closed in 1999. In 1996, its route in the Bencoolen area was amended to ply Middle Rd & Beach Rd in both directions.

tranquilice SG I have checked the map of 1970s. Crawford Lane is once part of Sumbawa Rd. Sumbawa Rd stretched from the junction of Victoria St/Kallang Rd to Beach Rd.
Yusry SG No Crawford Street has always been there. Sumbawa Road disappeared with the construction of the HDB flats. Check Streetdirectory.com for Crawford Lane and you can see the "remnants" of Sumbawa Road.
