A number of schools depends on service 132 and 166. For service 132, the service was extended from old Ang Mo Kio Interchange to Hougang South. Also, many residents in Ang Mo Kio depends on service 166 to KK, Little India and Bugis area. Bringing either one or both services to Bishan will just bring inconvenience to Ang Mo Kio residents. For sure, there will be duplication with service 54 and 162 if these services were extended to Bishan , either via Ang Mo Kio or Thomson.

Sv. 132 or Sv. 166, if amended to Bishan, would turn right from Upper Thomson Rd to Marymount Lane and then go along Bishan St 21 and turn left from St 11 to St 13 or follow Sv. 56 route, it may happen.

AMK residents can easily take Sv. 851 down to Bugis. There would not be duplication if Sv. 166 and/or Sv. 132 be amended to Bishan, as they would most likely travel along Bishan St. 21 instead of Sin Ming area.

Rearranging the route of bus 18 is the most inhumane thing to do! Alot of residents and schools lie within Tampines Ave 2, they need it to get to tampines and bedok central respectively. We cant rely on bus 28 or 8 to do that!

I wish service 18 not be extended to Serangoon as ZYX mentioned, better to stay in the current route. (I also mentioned its integration with service 26 but there's objection)

Services 8 and 28 can meet the demand along Tampines Ave 2 since they have double deckers.

Alternatives for passengers along Tampines Ave 2:

to Tampines Int: 8, 28, 292
to Bedok Central: 17, 28

Sv. 410 could be withdrawn in any case, remember SBST loves to rip passengers off by converting feeder services into "townlink" trunk services.

My two-cents worth...

Service 81...could be amended to terminate at Serangoon Interchange...

or...Service 81 would be withdrawn...Service 53 would be amended to loop into Serangoon Central->Upper Serangoon Road (taking over 81 route's)...bypassing Lorong Ah Soo...Lorong Ah Soo residents would be served by Kovan MRT then...so it's okay to take off 53 from Lorong Ah Soo...

Service 80 to terminate at New Bridge Road (since the rest of the route duplicates Svc 145)...Service 62 can be withdrawn...since some of its route is duplicated by 80...Hougang Ave 1 residents can still take Svc 321...

Svc 321 + Svc 32X can always combined to be a Townlink service.
Svc 327 + Svc 32X combined to be another Townlink service...

I agree with the Svc 103 + Svc 107 merging...although Svc 107 can be withdrawn...and Svc 103 route could be shortened to Serangoon Interchange or Hougang South/Central Interchange...

Possible to integrate Svc 97 + Svc 131 together...St Michael's to Jurong East.

Svc 111...can't think of how to amend this service yet...it provides Ghim Moh, C'wealth residents a faster link to Orchard...unless integrate Svc 123 and Svc 111 together...don't think 123 load factors r that good...Svc 123 Ghim Moh - Bt Merah...???

Svc 36 can be amended to terminate at Harbourfront...instead of looping at Tomlinson Road...Svc 85 can be withdrawn...and Svc 16 need not be amended...basically Svc 85 is a bit extra...

Svc 65, Svc 100, Svc 105, Svc 133, Svc 156...i dun tink any changes required lar.

Svc 147...some changes required...but how...don't know.

Exp 501, 511 and 512 would go...

Exp 502 is still workable...

Regrading the withdrawal of service 81, please read all the posts above about the service, it just tell you why it can't be withdrawn.

Service 62 cannot be withdrawn, in my opinion, service 62 will be extended to Hougang Ctrl after NEL opens and it will covers the route of to-be-withdrawn service 321. Also, service 62 serve parts of MacPherson and Aljunied area, not served by service 80.

Service 103 need to provide a link between Jln Kayu and Upp Serangoon Rd.

Then what about the route of service 131 between Bt Merah and HarbourFront?

See my suggestion on how service 111 be integrated with service 65. Also, service 111 can't possibly integrate with service 123 considering the latter is a "stupid route" service.

I don't see why service 147 should be amended.

I have this idea that services 315 and 322/325 be integrated to become a trunk service between Hougang Ctrl Interchange and Serangoon Interchange.

If services 25 and 69 can be integrated, SBST would do it long time ago. (eg. integration of services 28 and 152)

As for Svc 111 + Svc 123...well...coz Svc 111 probably needs to serve the market along Commonwealth Ave...the rest of the route from Orchard onwards is duplicated...

The route between Bukit Merah and WTC...I think there's Svc 145 or Svc 176 right?

Okay...juz did some checking...

Svc 97 + Svc 131 can be integrated to ply St. Michael's - Jurong East...

Affected residents of Svc 131 can always to Henderson Road to board Svc 145...also at most it would only affect Telok Blangah Way and Lower Delta Road (has buses to Harbourfront)...

So at most it's only 3 to 5 bus stops that might be affected Razz

Sv. 53 will be diverted into Serangoon Central once the NEL is opened, together with Sv. 22 and Sv. 70, the Boundary Rd section between YCK Link and Upper Serangoon will no longer be served. They will turn into Upp Serangoon Rd and continue their route at Upp Paya Lebar Rd.
