By diverting Svc 53 into Serangoon Central...Serangoon Central residents would be able to enjoy a direct link to Bishan (until the Circle Line) opens...

Boundary Road opposite Serangoon Stadium would still be served by Svc 76, Svc 24 and Svc 317...I guess that that would be enough...

Integration of services 315 and 322/325 can be renumbered service 84 in my opinion.

No, service 80 provide a good link for passengers along Paya Lebar Rd and Geylang East Central going to the North-East and Chinatown area.

Which market is that? Is it the one near Queenstown MRT? In my opinion, diverting the service to Bt Merah would make the route even more "stupid". Beside this, there are too many services to Orchard area from Bt Merah.

But that would brought more inconvenience to those along Telok Blangah Way as there will be no more direct service to HarbourFront and Shenton Way area.

Also, from a yet-to-be-confirmed source, service 97 will be withdrawn after the NEL opens.

Seems that some services will be amended to cover 97's route (to HarbourFront and Shenton Way) if service 97 is really withdrawn.

The fleet of service 97 is getting from bad to worse.

There's Express 507 and the MRT to cover service 97 route from Jurong East to Shenton Way.

Yes, suppose so, they could divert Sv. 24 and keep Sv. 22 on the original route, but there is some sort of duplication as Sv. 24 and Sv. 53 both go to Changi Airport!

I believe after Circle Line opens, Sv. 53 will get diverted again(possibly more pain in the butt) or get withdrawn. After all Circle Line will be operated by SMRT.
