Population desired government vs actual nation government. Population density Citizens like room to stretch out. Size and strength of military Citizens like to feel protected. Military casualties Casualties increase war weariness Military deployed Too many deployed troops also increases war weariness Infrastructure level Infrastructure helps increase happiness. Government tax rate Citizens prefer to pay lower taxes. Nation age Citizens prefer the stability of older nations. And a couple of hidden factors as well i think for yr case, yr military strength is too weak. yr nation info should tell u what need to be done.

RvnRooRon84 SG Yo bro; maybe I can be of service.. Its not easy, I understand...May I ask how many people do you usually send to? As for myself, I always max out my maximum messages I can send in one day (which is 200). And always refresh the "display All Nation" every few minutes or at the most 30 minutes. Then Quickly send to those newly created nations. I can tell you, for every 200 letters sent, only 1 or 2 may sign up depends on your luck. And of course how your letter sounds like. And if you do get a reply from them asking about the alliance, try to be as nice and as quick you reply to them since they must be receivng quite a number of letter from other Alliance as well. The most frequent replies to me is "how much aid do we offer"; this you must be able to convince them joining alliance due to aid will not be a good move since it doesn't create activity within the Alliance. Omebody just join merely for a 200K aid; then in days to come? Will they receive another 200K? Based on..? Usually these type of Alliance merely want you in order to boost their ranking; and they're usually consists of old nations out to "control" the new younger ones. All these you must make known to the new user. Work hard la bro, just send more and remember, don't do it for the AID, do it for te challenge.
RvnRooRon84 SG What's your government stance? I read that if its democracy or monarchy, it'll increse the stars by one. Maybe buying tech helps; every 10 techs bring up by one too. And also try to get resources for it; somebody told me having uranium, coal and lead can lead to environment decrease due to pollution and what not. Get Water, it'll help abit.
