Another similarity is that some people believed and hinted that
"pain is the pathway to higher consciousness" A thing early humans
practice....(even before buddhism)....Also some priests do that? So
did Jesus did the same?.....Hmmm....
No, Jesus did not do the same. Jesus suffered humiliation, yes,
pain in the heart, foresaken by the Father when he bore the sins of
the world, but it is His resurrection that make a victorious
pathway to heaven, not the suffering.
No, the way I understand Buddhism, there is little similiarity,
if any, between Buddhism and Christianity.
