For all we know, you are doing this intentionally with such an aim in mind.

I suggest and ask that you stop this, and if anything, I believe you deserve to be reported for exactly what you are doing and the kind of nicknames you are creating.

Tell me though, do you really consider yourself a Christian at heart? When you pray or when you attend church and you think about it that you're doing, what do you think? What do you feel?

i get wad u mean but u must understand tat i am questioning where the knowledge comes from??? and from the responses, u can see tat there are ppl who are on my side. its like we noe heaven is good but why do we noe its good? where is our reference pt? its the reference pt i am referring to...this reference pt is in our subconscious mind which often we are unaware of until someone/sth awakens us to it...its like why do we noe having 12 fingers is abnormal? its because we noe that normality requires a human to have 10 fingers...apply the logic to sufferings and blessings...although context is different, applications are the same...

i have a feeling that we are on diff platforms for this...i more or less expected it cos my analogy and the comparison btw 1st noeing good b4 noeing bad has its roots in creation...whereas like wad TTFU said, atheists por even agnostics focus mainly on the wad, the facts rather than the why, the how....which is why i always said, christianity and buddhism are different...

its my own explanation on how christianity views life...we acknowledge sufferings but focus on the blessings....

basically, christians believe and agree on the same fundamentals...however, when it comes to explaining, we will use our own egs and words...mine is a more philosophical approach...24/7 uses facts and abit of philosphy...some other christians may be more bible quoting...so our styles are different but you can test us on fundamentl beliefs and see if we have more or less the same beliefs...

it did not take her the enitre life to doubt God....you mistaken.

but it does not means that she does not believe in God......again, you mistaken.

by being "stupid", she has served many needy in the slums and her actions speaks for herself. to the people whom she has served, they appreciate not just her being "stupid" but also the "stupid" idea that "God loves them" cause they felt and experienced it.

i always disagree with you when you said we wouldnt noe sufferings without noeing wads blessings...

we know our earth is not perfect (we know what is sufferings) even though we have not been to heaven (we have not been to heaven but we know heaven is definitely better than earth). i wonder you get what i mean?

maybe, it's because there are sufferings here and so we want to spend our eternal life in heaven. we have not been to heaven but we believed that it's a place that does not have suffering.

regardless if heaven and hell is true...regardless is God is true.....regardless what faith we embraced or no faith, we do not want sufferings.....

in the case of Christianity, it's about following Christ.....about following His way. what is taught in the Bible - to love your neighbour.

by following Christ's way, we are being directed towards the direction of heaven (at least the beliefs of Christians) as His teaching is about doing what is good and right.

before flamming comes,i am not saying believe in Christ go heaven, don't believe go hell....NO.

believing in Christ means loving your neighbour thus, doing good....and people of all faith (and without) do good deeds. not just christians.

..... and the actions of rony tan, mark ng and konge hee is not in line with that (imo). but then they are not the only ones....and people of all faith (and without) do evil things.....you can see it here in this forum.

therefore, only people who do good (follow Christ's way) will go to heaven like what He said in the Last Judgement in Matthew chapter 25. Jesus is here to save - not condemn.

and as far as i understand, the Bible has never said that with God, there is no sufferings or if you believed in God, there are no sufferings.....

in fact, Jesus said, "come carry your cross and follow me"....... suffering and natural disaters are not an indication of non-existance of God. any questioning where is God when those things happened does not help either....instead, ponder why those things happened....
