well said. i wonder how many christians out there share your view. but to me, in christianity, the answer to sufferings is not satisfactory.

thank-you and plenty......you just need to avoid small churches especially those calling themselves mega....and stop reading too much anti-christians stuffs... can read but also read the pro-christians stuff to get a balanced views.

let me again apply wad u said...why do u find christianity explanation on sufferings unsatisfactory? could it be cos buddhism focus alot, in fact much more on sufferings than christianity? hence, due to that massive exposure to the teachings on sufferings, another religion(christianity in this case) answer to sufferings is seen as unsatisfactory? to a someone of great wealth, having a small bowl of porridge everyday, living in slumps is seen as miserable? u get wad i am saying?

yes, some (rather most if not all) will doubt the very existence of God at some point of their journey.....it's normal and what most of us is trying to explain.

but do not mistaken that as they do not believe in God or that God does not exist.

Irregardless, we all seem to be focusing on faith/non-faith . Of course while there will be people who praise her, there will equally be people who will call her stupid.

But whether she deserves to be praised or whether she is stupid or not does not change the fact that through her religion, she has help countless. Shown love where non exists in the slums.

We can talk.. its easy to criticise and to praise. But given the situation, will anyone one of us got the balls or even the dignity to do what she does ? Anybody ? Mmmmm ?

But... read both sides of the comments, they explain more then how I want to express my views on it.

It just makes me wonder if he really is unbiased , how come NO mention of anything positive ? Unless the positive's are all mentioned in the his rejection of the so called " consensus and authorities " ,

then if that is so, how do we weight out in the end of the day whether she did MORE good or MORE harm ?

Perhaps, she did do some substantial good by improving the lives of those in the slums, the argument here is that religion is the driving force behind this? One question I would like to ask is that since Christians believe that the next life will be better when you suffer on earth, why even bother to help those dying in the slums? A desire to gain points on what some would call the entry to heaven merit system?
