Okkayy... let's relook the original question again....
It costs only $25,000 to build a small church building in a
third world country.
It costs $25,000,000 to build a church building in
Singapore.
Build one Singapore church building = can put up 1000 third
world church buildings.......
So fund raising to build church in Singapore ......why
not raise funds to build in third world countries
also?
It seems to me that the intent of this thread is to ask: why
isn't funds raise to build churches in third world countries.
The question, it seems, is NOT, why aren't ALL the 3rd world
countries reached in totality.
So, that being the case:
CE, so your church goes to Batam. That's one island in
17,000 islands in Indonesia. how about the other 16,999
islands?
For your info, there are 200+ churches in Batam. There are at
least 3 Bible Colleges there and several Christian bookshops. There
are also Chinese speaking churches there. Batam is not really in
need of outside missionaries........
Please do not accuse others of shooting their
mouths......
Since you have already done your research.... then your research
has already invalidated your original question
because it has already been answered. To query over the number of
islands that exist in the Indonesian archipelago and why isn't all
of them reached is really nit-picking.... only yesterday, the
newspaper reported a previous unknown tribe in South
America....
but perhaps, the intent of your question is NOT about the
$25,000 economy-class church, but the $25,000,000 first-class
church.
If that is your intent, then you should GO to the first-class
church and ask them why not spend their money in another way.
It's their money, they can spend it the way THEY see fit. Having
said that, they will still need to account their expenditure with
the master auditor in heaven.
