actually, the way i look at it, its an internal as well as a
societal problem
i see this as part of a larger problems with youth today
internally, there is a large number of Christians whom the
mainstream churches might think to be misinterpreting the Bible,
very church leader centric instead of god centric, take in so much
money that the organisation looks more like a corporation than a
church, so on and so forth
this is the internal problem Christians must resolve
the bigger picture wise, this is a cause of concern, coz it
involves a large number of Singapore youth, like we all see,
foresaking schoolwork, spend so much money and time away from home
and all that, and for the topic sake, it involves the
churches
in a multireligious and pragmatic society like Singapore, anyone
will be concerned if this trend is growing among our youth today,
so how can this topic not be opened to wider audience?
we keep forgetting any religious group, or that matter, any group
in Singapore is not living in its own world, whatever it does
affect the rest of Singapore, only difference in magnitude
the day we become very apathetic to real issues around us is a
cause for concern too
