Just who is Ong Boon Jun, 21.
There is no info on him except that "he knew Teo had an illegal
weapon....."
My suspicion, from the little info available so far, is that Ong
& his Thai girlfriend(?) had already booked the Geylang room.
Maybe he's a pimp or a runner. Running out of lobang, Teo managed
to contact him & persuaded him to shelter him for the night.
(Complete guesswork, on my part.)
Too bad both cyberspace & the media played up the BGR problem
thing. Doesn't sound like it. He might well have been moping or
depressed, but one of his lifelong friends, a Bocky Tan, said "Teo
called him at about 10pm, just before he went AWOL, and asked if he
could stay over that night as he had quarrelled with his
family."
