This is what i saw at Citylink MPH bookstore

Yes. I use it frequently to put bones etc.

The magazine is a waste of paper and should be terminated. I do not see the point of the magazine to be honest.

KoolKool SG

I did not subscribe to Pioneer, or rather I cancelled my subscription, so do not receive any copies. Who says it is free ? When you next report for ICT, they will deduct from your allowances. Mr. Green

ditzy SG

Fcukers they all, just like chatlines, you have to tell them you don't want, then they cancel. Laughing

cairocks SG

We should be happy that at least some trees are saved thru this thoughtful act of recycling. The earth is being over exploited of its resources already. Mr. Green

Laughing ...

Some time ago,I saw a copy of Pioneer(of the current month) still wrapped in the plastic cover lying on the floor near the letter box.

Apparently, the guy felt that the magazine is just another piece of trash,so he straightaway threw it away after checking his letter box.

Gordonator SG

hmm... after seeing all the feedbacks here, if any big brothers are watching this, maybe can suggest to mindef can consider sending the pioneer magazine to the regulars only and NSFs who wants it. if not it's really a waste of manpower, postage and resources. Laughing

LazerLordz SG

I don't mind the Pioneer. It has some articles not available on the net.

Well, only for military enthusiasts.

scabstermooch SG

I think pioneer needs to re-evalute its mission. Anything that pioneer does can be done on the cheap online. Why should we be forced to pay for badly written articles by under-motivated underpaid clerks?

Absolute waste of money and manpower. Hell, just terminate the entire project and you save on one officer's salary.

KoolKool SG

Stop the circulation, and put them on the newstand and see how they fare against the other magazines. Pitch it, price it, and let the market forces decide the existence of the editorial team.

molgax SG

yeah its wasting esp when the family has 2 or more NS people

imagine every month collecting 2x or 3x pioneer mag

its taking up space its not like we cant share or anything ???

Gordonator SG

ya me too. i read them every month. Laughing

molgax SG

i use the extra to decorate ;p or make gifts or use them with what i can come up for uses of them

Ponders SG
