NT2 SG u shld always check ur leave.....unless u got a good chief clerk like me....remind me to take my offs and leaves.
Aveme SG lol encash,i doubt even now they have this,i got uncleared leave too when i ord too.Was “requested” to sign a certain document saying that i had infact cleared all my leave when infact i did not.ORD already,might as well just settle everything fast
baseturn SG Encash your NSF leave? No way... even the regs can't do it now. I was lucky to have cleared all of my NSF leave when I ORDed.
Uncle_MooMoo SG Why is claiming leave so difficult? Why do everyone only clear when they ORD? BTW, since NSF is 2years, is the leave from year 1 forfeited if it's not claimed by then?
packjust SG Now, the smarter A-level students would wanna extend their ORD dates 'cos most of them in my unit are leaving in Nov and have to wait until July or August for their Uni studies. That's a period of 8 or 9 mths. During the extension, they are actually getting 3SG REGULAR pay, i.e. thousand plus dollars per mth. Why not? Since, the work they are doing is quite clerical in nature. That's about enough to pay for roughly 2 years of tuition fees in the Uni (if they are saving $1500 per mth).
