Laughing was jk only... and, do u think the CO would extend his ORD date just so he can clear his leave? even if he extend it, it wouldnt be for the sole purpose of clearing leave, right?

1st yr can bring to 2nd yr but not to the 3rd yr.

nowadays NS is 2 yrs i dunno the policy. my time was 2.5 yrs

army is a cruel world, they pay u peanuts, they deserve to get 1-2% of responsibility back from NSF!

Hw much does responsibility in army worth, every 3kg = more sai gang + extra confinement if do wrongly. So wat u tink???? CLear ur leave lah! ur understudy will find the way to struggle thru! Mr. Green

now, it is compulsory for NSFs to clear their block leaves quarterly (based on unit, some can plan but go back do sai gang if not enough leaves left). no more storing of leaves and do the disappearing act a month or two before ORD.

lol... but i was thinking along the lines of threadstarter only left 7 days of leave... then tell CO "oei! extend me 7 days so i can clear my leave"

oh.....tts so sad.

i used to clear my leaves in half-days form. so i come in morning and sit awhile and leave after lunch.
half days make the leave seemed longer and they cant ask u do much when u on half day leaves.

You can still do the David Copperfield's disapperance act a month or two before you ORD if you claim OFFs from various personnels.

I got a 3SG who got more than 14 days off plus his 12 days of leave. In total, he got more than 26 days of disappearance act to perform. One month has only 20 working days. So he can do more than a month of disapperance act.

I wonder who has more offs than him?

This is a sickening mentality ..... people tends to think that their jobs are important and the organisation cannot function without them.

They are tasks if you think you have to perform them. They are not tasks if someone else thinks it is unimportant and need not be done. Let your Bosses decide which are called tasks.

Just go and everything will work fine. Its about a system that works, not about individuals.

i don't think so cos in my case, i live very far away from camp. somemore i must be in camp by 7am. travelling time is 1+hr to reach camp.

i certainly wouldn't want to torture myself by waking up so early at 5+am. take a long journey to camp, lobo for a few hours, then take another long journey home. Laughing

He had 26 days away from camp. For me, I went for recourse in Oct 2004, returned to camp in December for 1 month till January, then went Australia on holiday for 14 days, came back in,mid Jan. Left again to clear off and leave in end Feb till my ORD on 10th April.

In between I had off granted to me on a random basis, outside of the off record.

So from October till I ORDed, no one saw me in camp for more than a full month. Laughing

Not everyone can get it. You have to apply a few months before you ORD.
