A NSF MP highest rank is 3SG...

Up to date no NSF hold a 2SG rank...

Maybe its because it is Combat Service Support Class, which differs from Combat class like Infantry and Guards...

I got an MP interview slated next wed. I heard from my MP friend MP can stay out everyday one. But now i learn how crazy their training is... start to have 2nd thoughts. Cos my IPPT still have some problems passing.

No Not really... Depends on the company u r in.

Operational companies like mowbray station and detention barracks work 24/7.. which means you have to mount, dismount, standby for 24 hrs 7 days a week.. non-operational like dog wing, apc, school then stay out is a norm... but times to stay overnight will be xiong also...

After all MP is one of the best vocations out there.... Not everyone will get in and pass out as a MP...

So you have the chance better cherish it....

Go bSlc den go MP Spec 2 course is e best lah... at least can get a 3sg more pay mah.. although job scope oso more... with higher rank higher resposiblity... haha.. btw NSF MP i think max is 3sg ... no nsf go for platoon sgt course one so no 2sg...
oh budden u go bslc i think now a bit more relac cos in spore den dun have 32km road march if i nt wrong

erm.. abit off topic.. if lets say i kana MP.. then will i have a higher chance of goin police after my 2 years?

U will have a better chance when applying for police since you under go siilar training like law, apprehension, security, protection, dog training...

As for selection of MP, strict criteria. IPPT, criminal records, personal backgrounds and good paade drills are some of the considerations which will earn you a place for interview.

Through interview willl decide who goes for MP training. Showing signs of doubt or less interest will not be considered. MP training is one of the highest OOC rate I had heard of... thereforer only the best will pass out as Military Policemen....

BTW... SAF PROVOST is celebrating its 40th anniversary soon... Smile

Just curious, what happens after you ORD and go into the reserves? Do you go back to being an MP? Or do you get posted elsewhere?

personal background is not an issue.. i know quite a mps with problems de. even SP.
