NS,a fun experience or bad memories for you?

Patrik SG

That was before WO Nathan came.
After he came, there were still some cases but slowly gone down to zero.
ANd he was the one who posted that guy out.

mine has been a very positive experience, and i figured one of the reasons is because i took a positive attitude towards it, despite the occasional fear and stress. a result of my natural disposition perhaps? i guess i was also lucky to have met nice people almost all the way.

but anyway, made some good friends, experienced command and tested myself physically and mentally.

pity i didnt take enuff photos... Neutral

NS, a mix of good and the bad.

Quite an eventful NS for me, I made a few close friends, learnt quite a lot about weapon systems, office politics both in camp and with STK.

Enjoyed my recourse quite well, loved going out into the jungle once more for the thrill of it.And the feeling of walking around Tekong as a service sergeant is unmatchable.

Hated two major things, the ineptitude of many senior regulars and the inability of juniors to understand instructions, especially when one mistake causes the whole office to get into trouble. Rolling Eyes

the recruits got greet u "good morning sergeant"? Laughing

LazerLordz SG

hmm, nope. but got greeted "Sir". Me and a friend were jogging around in garrison shirt, then he stopped to do some chin-ups, and Gryphon Coy were mingling around..

suddenly.."Platoon diam, good evening Sirs"

He froze, looked at me, I looked at him, we looked at the platoon, and said, "Erm evening.. it's alright. just carry on what you guys are doing yeah Smile "

We immediately jogged away. Laughing

most probably they saw your garrison shirt they thought u are an officer. typical recruit mentality, better to greet wrongly then never greet and get scolded. Laughing
