SpecOps87 SG Definitely a sedan will provide very little cover for anyone hiding behind one.Anyway, please note the info about 6SIR snipers using the Sig-Sauer SSG3000 is seen as during SAF Day,there was a exhibition at my school showcasing the weaponry of the various arms of the SAF.6SIR was sent there, and besides the good old Styer SSG for field sniping being exhibitied, got to feel the Sig Sauer SSG3000 also. Definitely heavier compared to the L96A1 or Styer SSG.
Incedrius SG Interesting, thanks. Didn't know about the SSG3000. My earlier remark about OPSEC was more directed at Wuming. I understand his concern at possible revelation of sensitive info... But nothing so far said by troopers from ahem... XXX are really different from that of many other courses. And information about courses is splashed in the ST and the Net. As is the fact that *some* units are trained in OOTW and blue-role stuff. It's been public-domain knowledge for quite some time now. Of course, we won't go into details about exactly what we do (OPSEC) but cmon, manning a VCP is hardly secret-squirrel stuff. About the only possible thing remotely sensitive was the fact that sometimes (often?) due to time constraints, troops are not trained as well as they should in schools and courses. Should this be kept secret? As a mod, you decide, and we'll respect the decision. Of course, we should also self-censor our posts. But I just didn't see anything posted so far that warranted Wuming issuing a warning about possible OPSEC breaching, as well-intentioned as the warning may have been. If his post was just pre-emptive... err... ok, thanks for the warning mod
