2 Extras for you Recruit

Hi guys, i POPing in 2 weeks times. So far i kena 2 extras. One of them is due to a misfire in IMT on the first IMT visit. When the instructor was xplaining, my itchy hands cocked the weapon and i went and squeeze trigger. Boom~ my PS turn around and tell me later come and find me. Crying or Very sad

Well, thats one.

Next we went for field camp and at the last day we have BIC if i am not wrong. Where we leopard crawl and have live rounds fired above us. After that there was a spot check for live rounds. My PC found wet tissues inside my SBO. He became super angry and fuck me infront of my plt. He gave me 2 confinement but later reduced to 1 extra.

Well, thats 2nd.

My question is, as a regular, will tis incident affect my career or promotions? Will this 2 stupid/bad/fuck up ting that i did be permantly marked in my personal SAF record book or something?

if i were your PS, i would have given u 7 for the first incident alone. misfiring is a serious offence, itchy hands cocked the weapon even more serious, cocked already still has guts to squeeze the trigger even even more serious.

ok i changed my mind, take 7 extras and 2 confinements.

if you are NSF, i believe you will never be PL ics liao, cuz you sucx...so become most prob a men....

if you are Regular, i think should not be too bad....think is depends if your PC decides to write anything bad in your docket, cuz docket will be send to everywhere you went, to units, to school, to course, etc...so if so, then most probably, you may take long long time to promote. Very Happy

if gordanator were the PS , and if i were the recruit , i would have loaded 1 extra live round for him , at no xtra charge - 5% gst as well.

Having 2nd thoughts , i think if i were the recruit , i think i would have loaded 1 magazine full of live rounds instead of just 1 live round .

Anyway, misfire in imt... Is it really really so difficult to NOT do anything until told to? You readied the rifle and squeezed the trigger! I would not be so forgiving. If i had been In-charge, you would be spending Sat nite in camp in addition to a couple of extras.

Anyway, i think the docket thing is correct. Since you are in BMT i think it doesn't matter so much. In unit, they have these promotion meetings where your promotion is discussed by the officers.

if u misfire because u didn't hear the command correctly or before the command was given, that is at least not so bad.

but u itchy hands misfire when the instructor is explaining, that's a totally different story. u deserved to be punished. Rolling Eyes

yesh, IMT=individual marksmanship trainer...

back in my times doing the 84mm simulation trainer, someone misfired and got 3 extras!

also in my SISPEC times, SMT causes 2 of my friends to kena 1 extra each...

informal punishment is ok eh.

But when internal audit check and you have like maybe 21 extras or something, can't rem the figure, you may get into some sort of trouble.
