if u are in uniform and is being assaulted by a
civilian, unless your life is in
danger please do not try to retaliate.
if u are doing guard duty, and if the civilian is
outside the camp gate and is showing hostile intents, u cannot deal
with him, call the police
immediately.
u can only open fire if the person is holding a
weapon is attempting to cause damage to SAF porperties or life.
before shooting, Rules Of
Engagements still applies. if time permits, shout warning to
the attacker first,
"halt halt or i'll shoot"
always remember to shoot to injure, not
to kill.
according to the Geneva Convention, we are also
not allowed to shoot anybody in the
back, no matter how hostile he is.
