BTEC was correct but 95 nope.

I was there. The last BTEC was done on 3 GUARDS 92/93. By 94 in 2 Guards, I had my 1st ATEC.

For 1st OPFOR COY just for 1 work year, we had 26 ATEC ex line up for active and NS BN of which about 6 to 8 are oversea ATEC.

Rest? I think this group of man got the most off day compare to any other unit, man had come so far. As for HQ staff, well that's the jobs. example if a back to back ATEC happen... OPFOR coy "may" get the rest if there are other unit willing to act as enemy but for HQ staff it a no.

Not so for 1st OPFOR Coy. As for 2nd Coy, not very sure.

All I can say is the the 1st Coy was break into 2 Coy and assign to diff Bde.

read back again ... ... ...1 work year, we had 26 ATEC ex line up. last check with the guys in ATEC and they still have around 20 ATEC ex in 1 work year.

HQ staff will have +/- 20 oversea in 2 years in the past and now will be around +/- 16

REDCON 1 - 90% & above
REDCON 2 - 80 - 89.9%
REDCON 3 - 70 - 79.9%
REDCON 4 - 69.9 % & below

REDCON 2A & 2B is meaning a High REDCON 2 or normal REDCON 2.

ATEC usually consist of 3 mission and the 4th one is to push the unit for a higher REDCON. So far only Commando can achieve REDCON 1 which I think they are insane at time lar...

Everyboday play a part in ATEC from CO to Admin Clerk to QM to Men...

I went to ATEC in Pasir Laba camp last year and notice a few units (about 5) did obtain RECON 1 for their ATEC. Commando, Armour and Guards and an armour reservist unit.
