Over the years, Rafa has done a decent job. He got
Liverpool into 2 Champions League finals, won 1, and also had
1 FA cup and multiple top 4 finishes.
But unfortunately, this season he was poor. When a team of
Liverpool's caliber fails to get at least top 4, the manager has to
accept at least part of the blame for the failure, regardless of
the good work in the past years.
And when a manager promises something and then fail to deliver,
there is no reason good enough to justify the failure. It
could be injuries, it could be money, or even just bad luck, but a
promise is a promise. This has to be his last season in
charge of Liverpool.
So in all, he's done a fairly good job over the years, but this
shockingly poor season has offset all that good work. He
deserves to go.
