Newcastle United midfielder Scott Parker admits he's devastated
to be missing the Boxing Day clash with Liverpool at Anfield.
Parker picked up a fifth yellow card of the season in Newcastle's
impressive 4-2 win at West Ham last weekend and is suspended for
the trip to Merseyside as a result.
"As soon as I was booked on Saturday, I realised I'd miss the
Liverpool game, which is very sad," he says.
"We are doing well at the moment and we are now looking to kick on,
and I want to be a part of it. But I'm sure the rest of the players
will do well at Liverpool, and hopefully I'll be back for the
Charlton game."
